Film premiers in Tehran
Director Mohammad Bozorgnia along with several cast and crew members attended the premiere of his new film “The Maritime Silk Road” here on Thursday at Tehran’s Farhang Theater Hall packed with cineastes and fans.
“The Maritime Silk Road” is about a man called Soleiman Siraf who, according to historical documents, was the first sailor to cross the Indian Ocean to China. His route was later called the maritime Silk Road and many merchants took that route to ship their merchandise to China.
The ceremony began with the brief speech delivered by Farabi Cinematic Foundation (FCF) Director Ahmad Mir-Alaii, in which he expressed his thanks to the officials who made great efforts in production of the film over the past few years.
“I am happy to say that the foreigners’ efforts in distorting the name of the Persian Gulf is no longer effective. Anybody in the world who watches the film ‘The Maritime Silk Road’ needs no explanation about the name of the region, which is quite an admirable effort by Bozorgnia,” Mir-Alaii said.
“And today many countries are eager to screen the film, so we are also busy submitting the film to the international festivals,” he added.
Film expert Ali Mo’allem next called Bozorgnia a respected and an honest man who does not feel jealous of other’s success.
“We own a glorious history in the Persian Gulf, part of which I tried to depict in the film, which I hope will be warmly received by the audiences,” Bozorgnia said.
Veteran actor Ezzatollah Entezami also invited the participants to watch and enjoy the film and asked them not to pursue unworthy films.
Actor Dairush Arjmand stated that the history of this land has been left alone and hoped the film could help the history to come out of this isolation.
Afterwards, cast members including Bahram Radan, Pegah Ahangarani, and Payam Dehkordi as well as the crew were honored, which was followed by a screening of the movie.

براي حضور در جشنواره بيست و نهم فيلم فجر آماده مي شود
فیلم سینمایی «راه آبی ابریشم» به کارگردانی محمد بزرگنیا برای حضور در بیست و نهمین جشنواره بینالمللی فیلم فجر آماده میشود.به نقل از روابط عمومی بنیاد سینمایی فارابی، «حسن بشکوفه» تهیهکننده این فیلم گفت: تدوین فیلم «راه آبی ابریشم» توسط مصطفی خرقهپوش در حال انجام است همچنین صداگذاری این فیلم نیز چندی پیش به طور همزمان شروع شده است.

فيلمبرداري در چين به پايان رسيد
فیلمبرداری پروژه سینمایی "راه آبی ابریشم" به کارگردانی محمد بزرگنیا بعد از 16 ماه در چین به پایان رسید. حسن بشکوفه تهیه کننده این پروژه سینمایی گفت: فیلمبرداری 28 اسفند 88 در چین به پایان رسید و پیش از این هم صحنههایی را در تایلند گرفته بودیم، در صحنههای خارج از کشور در کنار بازیگران ایرانی،بازیگران چینی و تایلندی نیز به ایفای نقش پرداختند. البته هنوز مراحل فنی فیلم اغاز نشده است.

| حسن بشکوفه در این ارتباط به خبرنگار مهر گفت: هم اکنون به همراه بهرام رادان، پیام دهکردی، داریوش ارجمند و... سکانسهایی از این فیلم را در تایلند فیلمبرداری می کنیم و حدود 15 روز دیگر به چین می رویم. با برنامه ریزیهای انجام شده آخر امسال فیلمبرداری "راه آبی ابریشم" به پایان می رسد. البته مراحل فنی بخشهای ایرانی نیز انجام شده است. فاز اول "راه آبی ابریشم" در جزیره قشم و فاز دوم این فیلم در تهران انجام شد. این فیلم داستان سفر دو کشتی سلیمان و ادریس به دریا را روایت میکند. در قرن چهارم هجری و در اوج تاریخ دریانوردی ایرانیان شازان ابن یوسف که به تحصیل علم نجوم در دارالعلوم شیراز مشغول است پیشنهاد شغل کتابت کشتی را میپذیرد و به همراه این دو کشتی به سفری دشوار و ناممکن میرود و از حوادث و ماجراهای این سفر رهنامه مینویسد. بهرام رادان، داریوش ارجمند، رضا کیانیان، پگاه آهنگرانی، پیام دهکردی، مهدی میامی، محسن حسینی، فرشید صمدیپور، هوشنگ قوانلو، محمدعلی قویدل، حمیدرضا میلاد، جمعی از بازیگران تئاتر و سینما، جمعی از بازیگران چین و تایلند و عزتالله انتظامی بازیگران این پروژه تاریخی هستند. دیگر عوامل تولید فیلم سینمایی "راه آبی ابریشم" عبارتند از محمد بزرگنیا نویسنده و کارگردان، بهرام بدخشانی مدیر فیلمبرداری، پروین صفری طراح هنری، ابراهیم زاهدیفر مدیر تولید، سعید ملکان طراح گریم، مصطفی احمدی برنامهریز و دستیار اول کارگردان، خسرو و فرشید کیوانمهر صدابردار، نجف فتاحی مدیر جلوههای ویژه، کاظم فریبرزی دکوراتور وعلی نیکرفتار عکاس. فیلمبرداری این فیلم پارسال و بخشی نیز امسال در تهران انجام شد. اما به دلیل شرایط آب وهوایی گرفتن بخشهای خارجی به زمانی دیگر موکول شد. "راه آبی ابریشم" امسال نیز در جشنواره فیلم فجر حضور نداشت |

The Maritime Silk Road
Mohammad Bozorgnia, who has worked as Dariush Mehrjui’s assistant for many years, has been always interested in making films about sea. The Ship Angelica, Battle of Oil Tankers, Storm, and The Maritime Silk Road are all about personalities who are one way or another connected to the sea. A Place to Love was his sole film which had nothing to do with the sea. It was made four years ago and was a failure. Some of his films are about contemporary society of Iran (Battle of Oil Tankers, Storm) and some go back in time (The Ship Angelica, The Maritime Silk Road). His new film is one of the most spectacular film projects of Iran and is about a man called Soleiman who, according to historical documents, was the first sailor to cross the Indian Ocean to China. His route was then called the maritime Silk Road and many merchants took that route to get their merchandise to China. One of the passengers in this film is a young man who keeps a log of the voyage. Shooting The Maritime Silk Road has started in southern Iranian islands and has continued into China and Thailand. Crewmembers include Bahram Badakhshani (director of photography), Khosrow Keivan-Mehr (sound recordist), Farhad Alizadeh Ahi (production designer), Saeed Malekan (makeup designer), and Hassan Beshkoufeh (producer). Main roles have been played by Ezzatollah Entezami, Reza Kianian, Bahram Radan, Dariush Arjmand, Pegah Ahangarani, Payam Dehkordi, Mehdi Mayamei, and Mohsen Hosseini. It has been shot in seven months and in view of high production cost, it would be possibly among important films of the next edition of Fajr International Film Festival.about
